MongoDB Engineer (Romania)

Who you are:

We’re looking for a highly technical individual, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and comfortable working closely with customers. Previous knowledge of MongoDB is an necessary asset and additional MongoDB materials are offered to internal employees. Our ideal candidate will have: 

• Excellent analytical, diagnostic skills, and problem-solving skills
• High motivation for a role that combines deep technical and customer-management dimensions
• Confidence speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations is a plus
• Experience with MongoDB (DevOps and Security, MongoDB Linux and TCP Setting , add or remove Replica Set, Add or Remove Shards in a MongoDB Cluster, Indexing strategy for MongoDB, cluster creation and maintenance, etc.)
• Experience with MongoDB cloud Atlas is prefered
• Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
• Availability for on call support or pager duty for weekends and off hours is a plus
• Should have strong capability with, minimally, both English and any local language

Responsibilities:

• Performs well-defined technical tasks as part of a delivery team on projects of any complexity.
• Able to carry out most database and/or application problem solving to resolution.
• Demonstrates ownership of full consulting lifecycle (for own tasks) from planning and preparation, constructing consulting agenda, and post-engagement follow-up.
• Raises bug reports and feature requests for customer-found issues.
• Work as part of a wider delivery team comprising fellow consulting engineers, project managers and account teams

Success Measures:

As a MongoDB Admin you will be successful in this role when you can execute the following

• Become a field expert in “everything MongoDB”
• Support post implementation MongoDB solutions for enterprise size clients
• Ensure your client’s success with their MongoDB endeavors
• Constantly work on improving yourself, our products and our team
